we do not have a post already for different vehicle weights do we? I think that it would be nice to have one if not. maybe even a sticky. have blazer, 1/2 3/4 ton short long srw drw have it all ;)

My 1991 Blazer last time it got scaled and a typical trail setup for me:

350/700R4/241
30 spline open 10 bolts
4" Tuff Country lift
37" Boggers on stock 15x8 steel rims
Removed hard top, tailgate, and doors
I think the rear seat was still in there
Minimal trail gear. High lift, straps, lunch, not much more
No spare tire
1/4-1/2 tank gas. I have the bigger tank, but don't remember the gallons. Maybe 32?.
No carpet or rubber flooring
Cut front fenders and cut stock front bumper

2400 lbs front
1600 lbs rear
4000 lbs total

I like the above weight distribution. Recently went to D60/14FF along with 15x10 eight lug wheels. I expect the weight to increase about 200 lbs on both the front and rear. I can give an update when it's finished soon.

or wait maybe not, guess curb weight of them in 91 was 4 and a half,

hummm

i assumed would be more

hell my 68 c-10 longfleet pickup i had weighed 3850, and my 81 c-10 longfleet pickup i have now weighs freakin 4100

and thats with the lightened up front suspension components that GM started installing for the 81 model year, they musta made/added something else heavier in 81-up,... or something.., humm...,

who knows..,,
