So today I took out my vent windows to replace or repair them (87 Blazer). I'm not looking forward to putting them back in. Geez.
But anyway originally I was planning on sending them to Precision to be rebuilt:
https://www.prp.com/vent-program
That quote was $560 for the pair and then I have to package and ship them on top of that.
Looks like they also sell them for $430 each:
https://www.prp.com/product/?subcat...ear=1987&make=Chevrolet&model=Blazer&type=All
But then I noticed this:
https://www.oerparts.com/shop/all-y...rts/body-components/windows-glass/vent-glass/
Those are only $250 each.

So I guess I have two questions. One, why would I send them in to Precision when I can get new ones for less? Are the Precision rebuilt ones better? I don't mind spending more if I'm getting something for it. Second, I wonder if the windows OER and Precision are selling as new are the same. Some of the pictures are the same at least.
What should I do?

Sorry Josh I have no experience with aftermarket wing windows... In my opinion they are nothing but a pain in the a$$ unless you are a smoker... There are some nice vent window "elimination" kits out there I'd look into, LMC is one of them and have seen other offerings...
