vent window ''gook''

for the ones who have replaced the vent window weather strip,
did you have this grey,sticky kinda goo all packed inside of rubber seals?
I have 2 sets and they both like that.
and if you did did you pput anything back in there when reinstalled

I used the red tube of automotive goop (or whatever the hell it's called). Actually worked really well. Loaded the channel, pressed the window back in, taped it in place to dry, done.

Afterwards I just trimmed out any excess. Being holding strong 2 or 3 years now.
