guys..

MEEEEEEEEEEEEEE WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANT vertical doors on my truck..

is the a cheap way to get the kit?
 
Waht are ya new? j/k I dont think anyone makes a kit for our trucks for those doors, it would be pretty funny to pull up to a trail and open up your doors. I would suggest you bring a can of mace because everyone will probably want to kick your ass.
 
Guys, look where he is from. In Saudi Arabia, "lambo" doors would probably be the hottest ticket in town or on the dunes. I don't imagine there are many opportunities for rock crawling or mud bogging over there.

Aknight, it's been a while, but seems like I saw a kit for those years ago in a magazine (truckin' , I think). They were made in southern California. Keep looking, maybe with the (dare I say it) lowrider or show truck crowd, they will turn up somewhere.

i do think it might look kind of funny... but who knows..it might even look cool

and you right Jimbo... no wheeling nor mud bogging over her..its only sand dunes

i always had the thought of putting a lambo door kit on the jimmy, simply because all the parking spaces in town are for compacts, and i like to squeeze my truck into those compact spaces. (INSERT RANT HERE) would make it much easier to get out if the door swung up and not out. but for the price of those kits, i'de rather just crawl out the back of my truck.:D

My little way of telling the world if your gonna make "moto" spaces and "compact" spaces in your parking lot, make a "fullsize parking only" isle too, this way all our big trucks dont hang 4ft into the aisle way(END OF RANT)

i do hate that the parking spaces are getting smaller
 
here where i live our banks are making drive thourgh lanes wider, canister deals talller, and spaces longer in some new lots.
 
i laugh at the parking issue most when i go to lowes or home depot, count all the big trucks in there, then look at how ridiculous the parking set up is. Plus our lowes is brand spankin' new too, you think they would have thought about this.

Ok my Hijack is on about the parking, why is it that lowes & HD have to setup those ridiculous grass islands everywhere? They just make it look so much better when all the grass is dead, there are huge ruts through em, and mud out across the parking lot....Also love how the spaces are all angled, so if you are like me, and like to either pull through or back in, you are pointing the wrong way.

Hijack off.

I think the lambo's might be kinda cool, but I would worry about gettin em to seal.
 
the hinges i have seen swing the door out a bit then up, i think they could be fab up easyly, if you have the talint and desire, just need a GOOD gas shock to hold the thing up, oh and better make it out of high tensile stainless because they beach would wear out fast with our heavy doors.


you know red green did this with duct tape and a gerage door opener worked good too.:D

Anyway about doors , take them off and put tube doors on!!!!!!!

I also recall seeing these doors in some magazine sometime ago. Had to post that so I wasn't stealing the post. Now about HD's parking spaces, Why are the contractor spaces off center from each other and they are the same size as all the rest. How many contractors have compacts. I think the doors could be nice on the rocks. It would give you a better veiw of the front wheel with the door up instead of out.
