I went to the local store. Bought the only one they had and back ordered three more. For the price, couldn't resist. That extra $$ in my pocket was buring a hole anyway /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif

Mine got delivered yesterday 11/29. Like the instruction and warranty sheet.

"It should not be used to jerk a stuck vehicle free." /forums/images/graemlins/shame.gif

/forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif I thought that was why you bought a 30,000 pound strap when you drive a 6000 poound vehicle.

Now remember everybody only use these as intended!!! /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif

They put that up for liability only. If it said "Use to jerk a stuck vehicle free", idiots would back up as close to the stuck truck they could and hammer it. Ive seen stupid people take big rolling starts to jerk somebody free, and ive seen quite a bit of carnage come from it.

Got mine yesterday too. Nice looking strap, looks real beefy and I was surprised how soft and pliable it was, not stiff like some of them are.

I wish I would have ordered at least two now /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif we had to use 3 together this weekend in the desert to reach the stuck veh.

I noticed in that crappy little all advert. magazine they sent with it that they still have them listed at $19.99, but I'm sure they won't honor that now.

there not selling the 30,000 lb strap any more. I've noticed that They keep changing there prices every couple of days on the straps /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif.

Dave, I got mine too; today actually. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif We could have used them Saturday, huh. /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif I ordered 3, but the two that were riding with me Saturday are each getting one for Christmas. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Do you guys have much luck with the 3" straps? Most of the guys that wheel around here use 4". Alot of them are now going to 6" because the 4" wont take it!

I've been using a cheapy Superwinch 2" strap that's about 10yrs old, and I haven't had a problem. Matter of fact the last 4 times I've used it with a 1/2" cut in part of the strap (that's why I needed a new one). We don't get into really deep mud, though.

finally, after i'm the one that posted this, i didnt think mine were going to arrive! but they did yesterday! so i got em. woohoo!

Hey, that 2" one was definitely better than the cheapie auto zone nylon rope of mine we tried. /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif

I just keep looking at the new one wondering how long I have to keep it all clean and shiny. Lot's of mud around here lately /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif

Just checked the tracker and two of them should be sitting on the front step when I get home. /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif

I needed them.....broke my old 2"x20 last month and my 3"x30 one is getting pretty ragged.

just got mine in today also, although it looks like they used 5 rolls of tape and dropped the box off a mountain /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif

That's UPS for ya. When I got my Detroit it looked like they'd been rolling the box behind the truck, or it was used in some durablility demonstration. Thank goodness it's one solid chunk of metal.
