The really big fitting is fuel intake. Yes the bottom one is adjustment, there is one on each side on the front. That is an electric choke. Gas cable goes on top. Kickdown cable goes on bottom. Looks like you have a carb adapter plate already on there. You will need to get a diagram of all the vacuum hookups. I don't really know what to tell you. Sorry, tried to help.

you helped. i have a gasket, but no plate, just the carb and gasket. anyone else ? Thanks for all your information

I had to put a spacer on mine for my edelbrock 600. Same problem arm was bringing up. I just taught there was a adapter plate on yours. So yes get an a carb spacer.

the port on the radiator is another place the 3/4(the bigger) hgeater core hose can go, instead of from water pump port

some models used the radiator instead of the water pump i cant explain why, maybe someone else can

The two circled screws in first pic do entirely different things.

Screw on left is one of two idle mix screws, one on the right is the idle speed screw.

Don't cut the bracket on throttle lever in pic 1 , thats for the return spring , it runs from that hole to the throttle cable bracket .

The two threaded holes on drivers side are for mounting the solenoid that bumps up the idle speed when the a/c on . If you have no a/c , but have an onboard air compressor , you can get one to raise idle when airing up .

That vacuum can on the pass side locks out the secondary door based on vacuum .

Pic 3 , the thing on secondary throttle shaft is the secondary lockout , choke controls that , when choke comes off , the lockout moves out of the way .

Pic 3 , the small vacuum cap line went to a vacuum can mounted on pass side rear of carb , not on every model .

I don't remember what vacuum port went where , been a few weeks since I looked , will dig up the post I replied to with it if ya need it .
