So I have a BB Chevy and I bought a pair of tall edelbrock valve covers for it off the good ol Craigs List. They have bolt holes on the bottom but the top have no holes! How do I stick these suckers down????

I've never worked on a BB but I'd imagine they are like small blocks in the aspect that some years were center bolt valve covers and some years were side bolt valve covers. Sounds like you have the wrong covers for your heads. I could be wrong though and I'm sure someone with BB knowledge will chime in and either correct me or confirm.

they have to have bolts all the way around..
They have bolts on the botom rail and the tops go through the finned area im guessing thats what you have they are long 2 1/2 inch or so. usually allen socket head bolts to match the others some are fake bolts otheres real.

Right you are!!! The ones I got had a few of the "fake" allen head bolts missing so I didn't even pay attention to the fact that 3 of them had runners down to the heads! Cant believe I missed that! Now I have to find 6 very long and skinny bolts. Told you it was a dumb question :doah:

a bolt supply place should have them they are allen head socket bolts ( not button head)
