very high idle!! HELP

As soon as I start my truck(88 k2500) it rev's up to almost WOT. This is due to a faulty TPS correct????

Thanks. I figured it was TPS or IAC. Guess my first guess was wrong.
 
IIRC IAC won't even get close to WOT rpms... IAC shouldn't get over 2K when its fully open.

I'd bet you have a sticky throttle cable or a bad tps. .
