Vibrating tailgate

Anybody else have a loud rattling tailgate, how do you quiet it down?

I found some generic stick on weather strip at the local parts store and stuck it in there. It makes the gate nice and tight so no more rattles.

I can't tell if it's the glass or tailgate but probably both.

One side of my tailgate is much looser than the other when closed. Gaskets seem to be ok, I suspect I just need to move the striker mechanism a bit to close up the gap between gasket and body.

Mine doesn't rattle, but it's a bitch to open. I gotta give it the inside handle a herculean grunt to get it to go.

So nobody's is perfect huh. I'll give the weatherstripping a try, it really isn't that bad while driving, but sitting at lights and bumps it's all Clang clang rattle.
