When I am in overdrive and I take my foot off the accelerator there seems to be a lot of vibration. I don't notice this problem if I am not in overdrive. The tranny was rebuilt 6 months ago and the vibration has been a problem for a while. Any ideas would be great.

when u figure it out tell me what it was, my 700r4 does the same thing. every time i let off the gas at highway speed i feel a vibration for a few seconds then it goes away, wtf?

yeah, Im sensing a drivehaft u-joint / pinion angle issue... thats exactly how my rig behaved after I'd lifted it but was using a lengthened pos factory shaft and bad pinion angles.

Definitely sounds like a bad pinion angle. Put a cv shaft in the rear and that should do it with all the vibrations.

Yup , fixed mine .

All I have is a little tire noise and shakes and rattles expected from a 22 year old truck thats been wheeled . To me it rides smooth and comfy , but I am used to USED Chevy's anyway :D
