Obviously grabbed from a VHS tape but a good video nonetheless. Apparently we are catching up to the Ford Bronco at this point. Someone needed to adjust those brakes though.


Edit: yeah I know technically it wasn't a K5 anymore in 1989.

What were they called then? I thought it a K5 until 1991.

I think it was 1989 (1988 for the pickup line) that Chevrolet went to the "R" and "V" designation. If I remember right R was for 2WD and V was for 4WD. That's when the numbers changed too from 10, 20, 30 to 1500, 2500, and 3500.

That's why there isn't any K5 badging after 1988. My 1990 is technically a V1500 Blazer according to the shop manual.

The R/V designation started in 1987. The 1500 instead of 10 started in 1989.

Definately a VHS tape, the only time I have ever seen tracking issues like that were from wore out porn tapes,,,errr, uhh, I mean tapes that have been seen a bunch of times :D
