WHAT A BLAST!onlychevy6 said:looked like ryan was having a tough time especially with that new motor conversion. was it that tough? And what in the world was smoking on ryans rig?
I was having a tough time in the canyon with 25psi in my mtrs. There was no traction especially with the stream of water and drivers side tires always being wet.
Willyswanter didn't have to winch and i think he put it in reverse 1 time. Looked like he was just out for a sunday drive.
He will own TTC if he gets in there.
I winched about 2 or 3 times, and Kevins blazer trying to avoid body damage and Jerry's Sammi had to winch almost a dozen times. No front locker made it very tough for those guys.
Jasons exo cage makes it nice since the tube drags and not the body..
Me and Kevin were trying to avoid body damage to our k5's so there was a conservative driving style in the canyons. If i didn't care at all I'd hit everything hammer down and drag the whole side of the body.
As for the new engine conversion, it ran flawless the whole weekend, PLENTY of POWER, and boy does it sling some mud.
I did some 6.0L endurance testing this weekend bouncing it off the 6200 rev limiter in the mud pits.
At a real steep climb I had no oil pressure and my engine started clacking. At which point i decided to overfill it a quart in effort to save wear on my engine! ...and try to get some oil to the pickup! The smoke is from after i leveled out and it was a quart over full.. it quit smoking a few minutes later.
Other than that, no issues.
