I'm not sure if you guys want this here, if not feel free to delete it. I finally got around to processing and posting the video from the two GoPros we mounted on the ORD car.

One covers up until they broke the spindle 2:23 in 720p the other covers the first 2 hours in 1080p.

I just processed the video, it would have been pretty boring without Stephen's driving :haha:

It would fun if there was a little speedo in the corner. I find myself wondering how fast they are really going.

We don't have GPS speed logs. I don't fixate on the GPS speed either but I know the stretch of course that is at 1:35 to 1:42 is around 50 to 65 in the twisty stuff complete with me missing at 60 degree left. The lake bed was 98 to 99 top speed. It's not about how fast you can go flat out but about how fast you can go all the time.

I didn't know we were picking off cars like we were towards the beginning.

Just watched about 45 minutes worth. I want to come play someday. Looks like nothing but fun. One question, is this the first koh Stephen drove?

The whole time you were moving you were passing cars. I think we estimated you passed about 1 car per mile by the time you went through pit 1. If I remember correctly you were in 18th or so when you stopped with the broken spindle so that was almost 50 cars passed in the first 2:20

We basically have split driving 50/50 except Glen Helen in 2011 I drove all of it due to the broken transmission during practice keeping Stephen from getting time on course. Then at the Cinco de Baja last year Stephen drove all of that since it was a short race and we were afraid a driver change would detrimental to the groove we would be in.

This was first Koh that Stephen was going to try to drive all of because he wanted to and I bruised a few ribs the first day we were on the lake bed and I was not sure I could be 100%.

Finally finished the first video. I miss the desert.

Saw me standing at 2:17:30. Cant wait till next year.
