With a HDTV, do you see a difference from a standard video cable and a S- Video cable ?? Tryin too decide if I should go spend the $40.00 down at Radio Shack for a 6 foot "Monster Cable" S-Video cable.

Def go with the best connection type you have.

Does it have component video?

I had to buy a $20 digital audio cable to get my DTS going, but it was very much worth it

[/ QUOTE ] My receiver doesn't have the component video outs, or I would defently have gone that rought. The TV is strictly video only, all audio is through the A/V receiver.

i wouldent go to raido hack, try best buy or Fry's or curciut city they usually are alot cheaper

I switched from RCA's to S-video and it blew away RCA's. Like said before component cable is the best but alot of manufacturers are not installing them in T.V. systems. If my T.V. had component cable I would be there in a sec. But for now S-Video does fine.
