Videoclip- 4" lift, 44" Boggers, and 496 stroker motor

Eric Linn's shortbed Chevy has a set of 44" Boggers with only a 4" lift, Dana 60 front and 14-bolt rear, both welded, and a home built 496. Last he ran at the mud drags with it he was keeping up and beating guys with way lighter rigs. This demonstrates the thickness of mud from 2 weeks ago.

Glad I didn't try to take the 77 though that stuff, I wouldn't have made it far. And after seeing that video, its amazing your burb made it through.

It didnt really sound/look like the motor was spinning up very much. Maybe its just the video

I agree, I hate to knock the guy but it sounded like it was struggling (especially after upshifting).

As everyone said, the mud was like hardening concrete, especially on day 2's first run. That motor has enough power to keep up with the fast rigs in mud drags... but 4.10 gears locked front and rear and gfull tread 44" Boggers even suck the power out of a huge motor like Eric's. You also notice he ventured into the deeper thicker side his 2nd run in the video. It really sucked the power out of alot of motors.
