Vin code question

I bought a 84' cucv (chevy p/u) and was looking up all the vin codes for it to check and see if everythings the same. But I came accross a letter on the vin that I cant seem to identify. It's the letter D in the vin, 1GCGD34J2EF3. Anyone know what that letter stands for??

Yup, it's a CUCV I got it from a Chebbie book somewhere -- plus mine is like that.
