Does anybody know what the v engine code is? I looked on a website but it does not list a v. Also what sites give a discount to members, I am thinking of making the big orange jump & was curious.

what year is the V ? do you mean the V on the stamping ledge on front of block, or do you really mean the VIN code 8th digit ?

BTW, if the V is the second to last letter in your vin number it will mean it was built at the Pontiac plant

Thanks, I didn't think to look in my LMC catalog. It is 74 350 and I forgot I took the 2 bbl off when I bought it.
