Where the heck do I find my vin number on my 1989 S10 4.3 pick up truck?

There should be a sticker with a bar code on the driver’s door or door jam and a VIN plate visible through the windshield at the edge of the dash on the driver’s side.

Full size square body trucks have a partial VIN on the top of the frame under the passenger front floorboard area. You’d need a mirror to find it with the body on the frame.

The plate on dash in window is deteriorated, rusted out. I do not see one on door

There might be an option sticker in the glove box, the VIN would be on it. I’m not real familiar with S-10’s.

My 93 has the VIN on the option sticker in the glove box.
