I would like to decode a vin number. I recall someone putting a web site thread on here but I can't seem to find it, any help would be appreciated.

Assuming it's a GM truck in the region of 67-91, my Brochures page has a decent one:

and choose VIN Decoder ( ) on the left.

thanks worked just fine. but now what can i use to find out what equipement this truck has on it?

In the glove box or on the inner fender is an RPO code list, get the codes, and there are many rpo code readers online.
