I had a black step side built like the ones in the pics. I sure miss that truck, it's one I regret selling. Might be time to find a C10??? @Fastereddie
I'd love to see this section get some more action. Any desert guys in here?

The Scout and Ramcharger looked too good to not include.

Tossed in one of my old race bike for kicks too.

I can’t remember the name of the guy that used to be on here that was building one.
He had a fj55 on a blazer frame too.

I'm working on a stripe kit for the 77. The kitchen tile camo is coming off.

ORD's 4 link kits front and rear would be a start. Roll cage, seats, fuel cell and good steering. Beefy skid plates, lights and horsepower, to name a few. :pimp:

The main issue is the solid front axle and engine/frame clearance only allows so much suspension travel up front and the oem gas tank/rear axle clearance dictates travel too. ORD's kit seems to max out travel wise.

I want a leaf spring pre runner. Take what i have add a roll cage and go. Maybe I can get sponsored in my endeavor...

Honestly the OJ Bronco or F150 years with the TTB would be a better platform. It's easy to get BIG travel out of those if you have the dough. Which I don't have either. I have the front 4 link and some of their custom springs out back. I ended up with around 14" of travel. I could have went with longer leaf springs but I had enough going on as it was.

My 77 handles the whoops and terrain pretty good. Could it be better, sure but then it;s that pesky money thing again hahaha

The custom leaf springs ORD has will do good. @Fastereddie had a setup that had the same travel as the 4 link kits.

I have their (ORD) custom rear leafs but not sure what lift springs up front. Theyre from a previous owner.

Frizzlefry was the guy building the prerunner.

Bertha the shewheeler.

@TJ1978 Another option for links/suspension would be Robert's Custom Trucks. He does the desert scene and has some bad ass setups. I'm running his rear boomerang hanger kit and it is super nice.
Yeah, I've messaged with him a few times over the years. I just can't afford a lot of his stuff, let alone the labor for that install.

i do want to get his custom front bumper though.
