vinyl floor mats

Haven't used any, but LMC has been selling sets for quite awhile. Since they've been out this long, I'd expect them to fit pretty decently.

I just put an ACC mat like this in my k10. Very heavy duty material and looked good laying on the garage floor, but I am disappointed in the fit. I could not get it to fit decent mostly cause the tranny hump spot was way to big to match the truck floor. I ordered the high hump version, and my truck is a high hump, but it was just way to big. oh well

I got the LMC one for my CUCV Blazer. It was stamped for the seat bases, which were different on the CUCV; in time the dimples mostly flattened, but one in particular always held water (and soda, I discovered :( )

The mat was oversized, front and back, as I recall, sort of a cut-to-fit proposition, which worked out nicely as the CUCV has less interior trim than a normal Blazer. they send it all rolled up, of course, and it did take most of a day in the sun to flatten out, as I recall.

It was surprisingly strong, for being so thin. I wasn't carrying sharp metal objects or anything, but it never tore or even got visibly scuffed.

Anyway, for the $160 or whatever it cost, it was pretty good, and replaced the original factory one nicely. If it was a 'wheeler or a truck that would see lots of abuse (and if I had $$ to throw at it) I'd bedline the thing ... but for that truck and its uses, the LMC kit was ideal.

(Now if I'd known that there were camo ones :haha: ... but I did try and keep the M1009 "correct", which would mean the black.)

ok does anyone have a link or phone # for LMC? so i can check out their prices and colors? i know at ACC it was goin to be like $400 bucks for a full mat for my blazer.... but that was also the blue one since im painting my truck blue and making the interior blue :D

I had the LMC rubber flooring, it is a Major PITA, like others have stated, it comes in a roll and needs to set in the sun for a good day. Its big and heavy and very awkward to put in. They need to be cut to fit, I didnt do such a good job and the edges looked like crap. I took too much material away. I didnt like all the humps and bubbles, I was just never happy with it, it couldve been cuz of my install. But none the less, I yanked it out and LINE Xd the inside. Much nicer, The problem with the rubber is, you have a chance to get water, dirt, mud etc etc UNDER it and I could rub the metal and/or rust. After LIne Xing, Ill never have carpet or rubber mats on an off road rig ever again. I may not pay to line X, but ill herculine or something. It is just so much easier and nicer to deal with.

I used the one from LMC in my pickup. the final result looks good but the fit over the trans hump was really poor. I guess I have the high hump and the one they sell is a one size fits all. doesnt interfere with the pedals or anything though looks pretty good. To make it fit the best I left it in the hot sun for a few hours while I pulled the trans and case shifters. then I fit, cut, and glued down the insulation. After that the liner went in and I worked from the center out to the door edges lightly gluing it down to the insulation using a spray adhesive. Last step was cutting the hole for the shifters and reinstalling the trim. Its not perfect but way nicer than bare metal.

the lmc ones are the exact same as acc i got mine from lmc and they were in an acc box, pissed me off could have saved $30

I've got the Brown Camo ACC mat in my '74 and I'm pretty happy with it.

It came oversized and took a fair amount of trimming, but the contours were pretty good.

Once I got it to fit, I crawled under the truck and sprayed primer up through all the mounting holes. Pulled the mat out and drilled on primer holes. Presto! Perfectly placed bolt holes.

I'm just bummed they don't seem to make them for the sixpacks ... I would LOVE to have the desert camo in my crewcab, as the carpet is shot and hey, it would *match* the trucks =))

I got my carpet from accmats, good fit & customer service. Even sent me half a dozen color samples cause I could decide.

I bought one from Brothers truck parts in Corona,Ca. It was an ACC mat. I was soo unhappy with the fit that ACC sent me new CARPET instead and told me to keep the mat. Wont do that again. like said above the fit sucked to say the least. But customer service was EXCELENT from both Brothers and ACC. Good luck

thx for the input. igot another ? though... how do i know if i have the low hump or high hump over the tranny?? 80 k5 t350-205?
and i look at it in the good way, if it really has a bad fit i get a free carpet out of it :Dlol

if you dont mind having the tranny hump exposed, a truck bedmat works awesome.. I ran 2 flat sections for the front and a big one for the back...
