Anyone else receive any warnings about a new virus that is "supposed" to be the worst ever, like the last one wasn't and the one before that but never the less.......

Yes, I heard about something called "nimda"...is a worm virus. The FBI is urging everyone to update their virus detection software right away...I guess you can even get this new worm by visiting an infected web page! Scary...

Luckily my InoculateIT checks for updates every 15 minutes on our network.

This is a good opportunity to remind all of ya to update your virus protection AT LEAST MONTHLY.........no kidding. Norton just put out two this week alone, so if you have an extra few minutes (or like 30 seconds with a cable modem

) check the www.macafee.com for updates. This is no longer a hoax type situation, these worms and viruses are real and they cause problems.

I got 1 the other day about a virus that is called new pics of the family or something like that, supposedly it will come under a name that you are familiar w/ so most people wouldnt think twice about downloading it. I this the one your talking about.

I get all the exercise I need pushing my luck!
