Im having Voltage problems,
I was driving home when my lights, stereo and interior lights went out. Tried swapping out the alternator, didnt do anything. Its running at about 9 volts. None of the lights will go on, interior lights, and stereo.
If you have any ideas???

Thank you

check...

Sounds like a fusible link burned up somewhere..there are 2 at the starter solenoid in the thick red wires, and one near the junction block behind the power brake booster..could be other wires at fault too...

Fixing it?

How would I go by fixing it?

Thank you for your help diesel.

first find the fuseable links.. .then use an ohm meter and verify if they are good or bad... you MUST find the short or why it blew.... some people just replace the link with a straight wire... the problem with that is if you dont fix the short.. then you will fry something else... that is why it is there.. to protect more valuable items...

It could also be a bad battery. Check the battery voltage with the car off. If the voltage is low try to charge the battery. If it won't take a charge the battery is dead.
