my oem voltmeter fluctuates too much and I am not happy with the missing numbers of the OE style.

What is the best way to wire up a replacement voltmeter? postive wire to where and the same for the negative wire.

Thanks!

I have always done it by running the positive to the starter lug, and the negative to the engine block. But I have always liked a bit of overkill. Everything from the alternator runs back through the line to the starter so it should give you accurate readings.
