Dan @ Eastcoast4wd offered me his Blazer with the 350 Vortec, 4l80 (from a 96) 203/205 doubler, for a pretty sweet price. I want to take my TBI 454 and put it in this, but I want to keep the 4l80. Since the tranny uses the Vortec ECM, can't use it on my motor. Only things that I can come up with is to get the ECM and harness off a truck that had this combo, (91-95) get a manual valve body, ( had that in my car and gets old) or swap in the 400 that I have that I was gonna use for my 62 burban. Anybody have any ideas?

You can buy aftermarket controllers for the 4L80e, they just arn't cheap... Like in the 800 dollar range.
That said, I am pretty sure that there were TBI 454 trucks that had 4L80es in them stock. Think early 90s

I've searched for both controller and stuff of an early 90s, the controller is stupid money, and the truck stuff, can only do one search at a time. Ihave a friend that works at a yard, he might be able to get the stuff for a better price.
