do the 96-00 vortec engines have the same bolt patterns for engine mounts and transmission.

my 96 looks the same as motor mounts on block. and bell yes its the same. this is for the first full vortec motors not the silverado body style.
the 96-99 vortex are the same Gen one block as any 350 in 00 they went to the gen 3 blocks which still have the same bellhousing pattern but the motor mounts were moved. Advanced adapters sells a motor mount adaptor so you can use gen three motors in a older aplication
I never got into the gen1 gen 2, etc. names, but basically, a Vortec 350 is just like any other 350. (one piece rear main, rollers, etc. different, but externally and internally same casting for the most part)
