vortec head plugs?

I bought this motor built with vortec heads 64 cc part number 080912558060 from jegs the motor currently has ac delco no 12 plugs
I got 41-803 plugs as a said crossover from the parts store they have amuch shorter threaded section than the no 12 plug which is correct ac delco website shows both fit vortec motors of diff years

The Delco 41-803 is for an earlier TBI motor. Go with an NGK TR55, Autolite 605, Champion Rs14yc6, etc. for the Vortec heads.

good call i picked up the 605 autolites i've heard these heads prefer plattys but I will give these a shot for now.

The correct "normal" Delco's have worked fine in my truck.

I think the platinums are probably for longevity/warranty issues.

I run NGK V powers in mine and they work fine and are a whole lot cheaper than platinums.
