OK I know there are a bunch of posts out there about this well kind of but I will just ask anyway to make sure.
I know you can put Vortec heads on a 350 with a TBI set up with a GM performance intake manifold. Now what I need to know is can I put Vortec Alum. heads using the same set up??? Just need to know because I will start building my new motor soon for the new Buggy I will be building it this winter. /forums/images/graemlins/ears.gif

What Vortec aluminum heads?

I recall something about new heads with the Vortec bolt pattern, but do you have a link? They seemed to be modified fast burn heads to me, at least the ones I'm thinking of.

Didn't you guys go through an argument few months back about the WP Torquers being better than the Vortecs? /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Not better. Just a better value by the time all is said and done.

GM Fast Burn heads are "aluminum Vortecs" as are the Edelbrock "ETec" series.

Actually they aren't. The Fast Burns are dual intake bolt pattern, have about a 40CC difference in intake port volume, angled plugs, different spark plug reach, dual valve cover bolt pattern, different spring diameter, and will take over .500" lift stock. All different than L31 heads.
