vortec heads, any bottom end upgrades needed?

I am going to be rebuilding my engine, and I am hearing good things about vortec heads on small blocks. I am unsure whether or not I am gonna be doing the bottom end. If I put vortec heads on my 350 would I need to do anything to the bottom end to beef it up? Also if I went that route I would put an edelbrock intake for the vortecs and a holley carb, and upgrading the cam.

I wouldnt think so, but you will be up-ing compression to around 9.0-9.2 over a regular 72cc head, i would put em on, and drive it like I stole it
