having problems with an engine swap.... removed dead 350 stock motor and replaced with vortec v8 350 from gm goodwrench .... having motor mount issues.... the clams are original... the bushings are energy suspension poly...
was going to just buy replacement motor mounts but they are china made and weak.... the replacement motor mounts didnt even match the original ones...i ended up matching my original clams to be the same as what is used in a 1989 camaro 305 v8....
my blazer is a 1989 full sized 4wd ... why would they use car motor mounts instead of 4wd motor mounts from the factory...
anyone have this issue before...?
the original mounts for my blazer are three bolt pattern to the frame and are flat on the bottom of the clams... the 4wd mounts that the parts store tried to say were the ones for my ck5 were offset with four bolt pattern..
and not flat on the bottom of the clam shell
