Hey guys I'm new to ck5 and wasn't really sure where to post this, but I have a question about the location of the vehicle speed sensor on my 1987 gmc jimmy?
It's a 5.7l tbi with a 700r4 and a np208, I read somewhere that it was located on/behind the speedometer but when I go to auto zone -__- they pull it up as a $160 vehicle/transmission speed sensor located on the transmission? My truck is throwing a check engine code for the VSS and running really gutless and gets WAY worse gas milage than usual this is all following my speedometer stopping working ? When my teacher helped me pull that code and said it was in "limp mode" ? I didn't even know my truck could do that? Lol
I also was wondering what all that would this cause? I read bits and pieces but can't seem to find a straight forward answer so I turned to here and made an account!
Anything and everything is much appreciated please and Thankyou!
