Need W Crossmember for my blazer, im going 700/208 from the 350/203 that was in it and this is all i need to finish it... Im in arizona so the closer the better.. Thanks.. nate

which adapter are you using. the the short one takes the w crossmember. the tall one takes the flat crossmember. stock 700/208 would have had the flat crossmember.

My 83 has a regular old crossmember with the two piece mounts on each side , same mounts are on my 350/203 combo . Now my friends 89 Burb has the one piece trans mount and the W crossmember .

I think 85 or 86 went to the newer crossmember .

now that I look at it, it must be year specific because my 83 has a flat one and my 85 has a W. they are both 700/208.

i ahve the short adapter, its the same one thats on my 85 chevy truck with the w x-member, i got the trans and t-case bolted up tonight but didnt try the original flat x-member on it... ill have to see if it will work.. Nate

if you use the short adapter and a clocking ring you can get the bottom of the truck a lot more flat. You will have to make a new x-member though. This is going to be a winter project for me. I have all the parts, now just have to do the work.

I have both. I'm planning on a T-case swap this Holiday with a home made cross-member, so both factory members will be up for trade/sale.

sorry guys, should have posted. after i waited a week for one i just went junk yard searching and its amazing what you find, got two 241's, two x-members with skids, two front d-shafts, and two rear d-shafts.. all for about $120 on half off day... Thats nice.... nate:wink1:

That's the kind of JY you want to visit ~twice a month, just in case something special comes in, and those prices make it a steal.:D
