Hey I have seen this on ebay several times the guy can not sell it. I would buy it if he wasnt 2000 miles away from me. Anyways I just found it on there again and it was ending he has it on there for 99.99 It is a millitary blazer all sheetmetal is there except for the tailgate has front axle think its missing the rear. Anyways heres the link email him Im sure you could work out a deal. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cgi/ebayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=553424885&r=0&t=0

Alls you have to do is email the guy and work something out with him. It was over when I posted it. Had just ended then I have seen it on ebay 4 times started out at 500.00 someone bid but never paid then it was listed like 3 more times with no bids. So I am sure he would probably take the 99.99 to get rid of it.

Thats pretty funny...I've been over to look at this thing...it's kinda well stripped, and the drivers door is no good. I don't think the passenger door is any better. No tailgate, no rear axle maybe either. Guy is ok, but he told me the door was real good, when I got there, he noticed then that the door was no good.

Hey Dorian, its a hundred bucks. If I wasn't already commited to the parts I have for my rear swap I'd be on that thing in a minute. The cab and tub look sweet and rust free, the rear floor looks good too. I have doors and fenders and a tailgate. Honestly I wish I would have seen that a couple of months ago.

Yeah, I guess your close enough to make it worthwhile..I paid $400 for mine out of a wrecking yard. But I just got a pretty bare tub, nothing as "complete" (lol) as that one. Don't forget that the military has many extra holes cut in the body of this thing though, so there are a lot more potential rust points on that truck now, and a fair amount of body work if you wanted the truck to look good. If you were going to use it to beat on, would be hard to beat. Too bad theres not enough on that truck to make me want to buy it for $100, hes only about 20 minutes away from me.

Getting it back across the border makes me hesitate. He's only a couple of hours away, and it has more of what I need than what I have. I would be wheelin the truck pretty hard so perfect body is not too important. Rust free is though.
I'll make do, even if it is more work

I didn't realize you were so close Dorian.

Wish I was that close there really is not that many holes extra in it. just for the antenna mounts is about it. I have a 84 m1009. If I could bring that thing home I could get 1500 bucks for the tub no doors no front clip no gate etc.. just the tub I could get 1500 for it. I would be all over it if I was 2 hrs from him.

I would be all over it if I had somewhere to put it. I live in a townhouse with a single carport and half a Blazer body already occupying the front part of it!

I've seen worse tubs go for a grand up here.

The other bonus, at least in the States, is that these trucks should be emissions exempt everywhere, forever. Somewhere I saw a sticker on them that said emissions exempt or something, from the EPA. That would be nice, could put whatever motor you want in there.

We don't have a visual test so to speak here. You have to have certain minimum emmissions equipment on your truck, but quite honestly I could run a blown 502 inch BB as long as it passed the sniffer test I'd be fine.
