I was bored today, and I'm waiting on a few parts for my junk. I had some tube and left over steel from other projects so I decided to make some tube doors. Total cost = 63 bucks. I may add a few other pieces to make it a little more rigid, but thinking about keeping it the way it is because it does not weigh hardly anything at all. What ya think?

If I made some of these and ran them on all 4 doors of my burb, does anyone know if it would be an issue with structural rigity of the body when wheeling at all?

I think structurally it should be fine, my only issue with tube doors is when you lay it over on something will it keep that something from coming in and getting you?

Yeah, that is why I'm thinking of adding some additional material in between the two bars. And I figure its better having them there then not having anything at all.
