Two questions...okay two main questions:

1 - I have my 11.00R16 Michelins mounted on some like new (no scratches, dents, dings, marks, ANYTHING, etc) 2007 GM 8 lug silver-grey 16" steel wheels. They're purdy, the right size and backspacing, and the price was great ($100 for four!). However my truck is NATO forest camo with actual CARC paint...the wheels look a bit out of place.
A - Should I paint them black or leave them as is?
I sorta hate to mess with them as they look good right now. Not a mark on them.
B - If I paint them, got any tips?

2 - probably going to have to do some fender trimming to fit these 38's. I've had several people mention using the cut off wheels as the best option to use...what size and type of wheel should I use to get the best cut with the least issues?

Hard to say about the wheels. I would mount up the tires and see what it looks like. Might not look bad, if it dose then paint them.

Eh, if I do paint them it's going to be black or nothing. The first wheels were the same forest green as the body when I got it but didn't do much for me.

i used a 4 inch cutoff wheel, i could get into spots pretty easy.

Nice. Any specific kind of cut off wheel or just any 4" cut off wheel?

I'm debating between dropping the whole front edge like you did or just nipping a corner off.

I had a pair of steelies on a 4-runner that I painted black. I masked the tires, used a wire wheel on a 4" grinder to clean them up, and wiped them down with brake clean. Painted em with flat black Dutch Boy spray paint and they never flaked or chipped even after a year of wheeling and being covered in mud, etc. Held up far better than I'd thought they would.

I've trimmed using a sawzall, worked fine as long as you dont let it turn itself into a hammer. I'd start with a corner and trim more as needed.
