I need to get rid of this thing, It's factory built on a Toronado front drive platform , extended a bit. Runs and drives, 455 Olds, TH425. 9mpg @ 65 mph. Lots of power. Never winter driven, always in Mexico.
Needs some TLC. Manufactured in British Columbia. Title in hand
Located far NE NY State, 300 miles north of NYC, 20 miles from I87, in the Adirondack Park. Saranac 12981. (NOT Saranac Lake, but on the way there, from Plattsburgh).
Trade for cash, or some kinda' Cheby 4x4, nothing off road, maybe a Diesel Sub. Really want an early CrewCab. 6.2 4x, Dually?
What's it worth?

That's the ugliest damn thing I've ever seen..... I LOVE IT! Too bad I'm in Arizona and, well, broke.

Bump for a cool RV!

My buddy that was fixing it 12 years ago called it the Wonder Bread truck, and he wasn't complimenting it! He abandoned it on Long Island. that was it's last trip.
Find me an (electric window) 4x4 Crew Cab or Sub, I'll trade. C'mon, It's so cute!!! And it'll burn rubber, TRUST ME!

Sorry man, the only thing I have that fits that description is my 95 Dodge DD.... Can't give that up just yet. Besides, I'm betting that front wheel drive and towing my 5000 lb. pig of a wheeler would not work too well. Talk about burnouts :doah:

OK, how 'bout trading for a car trailer or tow dolly, + a little cash. It really has been hanging around too long.
Nice 18' dual axle, maybe aluminum, hmmmm??? Or body work? Hullo? Anybody want to take me home?

Awesome! Was that a 66 olds by any chance? Love the telescoping steering wheel amongst other things. Do you know the details of the 455? I think that may be a rare high nickel "super rocket".

High nickel, I don't think so. It's an early 70's smogger. Beast is 1/2 66, half '72. I also have a '66 Toro, 37k, bought in '79, only driven few hundred miles. I'm a sick collector. Pix taken 1981, nothin's changed...

So what engine does your 66 toronado have in it? Was that the 425 super rocket like the 98 had in it? That toronado looks great.
