just about to finish an overhaul to my 350 engine (1981 GMC Jimmy) and want your suggestions to add more on-road/off-road performance to it..

If you post in the garage you will get way more responses than here in the ORD forum.

If you haven't gone very far you should look to build it to make good power at lower RPM.
Most offroad use requires power just off idle.

The garage forum is the place to ask this one, you'll probably hear stuff like this:
Headers, good intake manifold, mild performance cam, good ignition system, free flowing exhaust, maybe a cool air intake (cool being relative in Saudi Arabia), properly tuned carb.
