Want

That's a clean one, bet it pulls some crazy money. I want it too.

In all honesty, I can’t visit sites like that because I’d end up eventually buying something that would completely destroy my spending. No doubt in my mind that it would happen eventually.

There was a near identcial Burb on CL for sale here for months, same two tone paint,it was a '71 GMC..I posted the ad here on the craigslist thread, but its likely expired ...price varied from $3500 to $6000 ,depending on what ad you read,I suspect its still for sale (but isn't listed currently)...it was rusty from sitting forever by the looks of it,but had low miles..

That one above is a rare beast being a 3/4 ton and in such original condition..one of few I'd say is actually worth the listed price..

I'll take that for the original sticker price, please...

Then I'll pick up a vintage Airstream and head on a tour of the National Parks. Take part of route 66?

That one is too clean to molest, but I do dream of dropping a clean body like that on a GMT-800 chassis with Duramax/Allison and full modern conveniences. Not sure how I stand on adding the 4th door. Since I'm dreaming I suppose it needs to have Quadrasteer.

This was from the seller in the comments

"This Suburban was used by the original owners to pull their Airstream that they have also owned since new and still have. It was also used by the wife to carry around kids to Church retreats. They purchased a Dodge diesel truck years ago and it replaced the Suburban as the tow vehicle as their kids are grown and they no longer needed the extra room for passgeners when they towed the Airstream. With the optional factory power steering it is surprisingly easy to steer through in and out of the usual parking lot and tight parking spots."

I bought a truck on here a couple years ago. First got on BaT just to see whats out there with no intention of actually buying...less than 1 month later I was driving down to Atlanta to pick up the truck I won.

I'll say around 18-20.
Nice, sure. Just can't it going for more then that.
In fact I think that's high.
If I had money falling out of my backside, I would do it. But I agree even at that price, it’s too high. All the good classics are getting priced out of the working man range. I paid $2500 for my M1009 back in 2009. Now ones in rough condition are going for $6000. Seems silly to me.

My love/hate game is strong with this site
