Thats awsome thanks for helping. But if i was to get one axle only, i would get the 14 bolt first. I saw a 14 bolt for $1200 and people i talked to said thats way to expensive and i should be able to get both axles for like $1500. Thanks

14 bolts are cheap and readily available, I bought mine for $250 through a pick and pull and there was at least a dozen in the yard to chose from. Plenty of other yards have them pulled and available for 300-350.

$1500 is a really good price on a D60/14B combo, I would consider that a friend price for sure. Around here you're looking at closer to $2K retail for that combo if you can even find a pair for sale.

Thanks, glad i came on here. $1200 for a 14 is crazy for sure then. Im mainly trying to get my 14 first since thats the one that gets you home. If i find both its a bonus.

What where? What places? Will they ship?

Cool thanks I'll check them out. What do you think a fair price is for a completely rebuilt 14bolt with a detroit. Thats never been used yet?

Probably somewhere around $1,000 for a drum brake axle with a Detroit. If 4.56's work for you I would look for a military takeout since those have detroits in them already.

I know your looking for a 14 bolt but I have a Dana 70 I am trying to get outa my yard and it's 4.56 already and 66 inches wide.

That sounds awesome, but what width do I need? Still at work so I can't really measure right now .Locked? How much? I can weld spring perches and shock mounts if needed.

I measured and its 56" from inside to inside the drums and about 66 from outside to outside hard to measure. So it should work

I'll have to measure the spring pads, it's open and it'll need to be given a once over. I'll pm you a price.

Im going to get the 14 bolt axle i was looking at since it brand new in the crate still.seems like a good deal.

Awsome thanks. Since this 14 is from a truck. Im looking for write ups on how to center everything up.before welding on perches and shock tabs. And disc conversions. Got a lot of homework ahead of me lol
