I have one, The truck has 200,000 on it. The case "seems" fine. But I don't know the full history on this truck. I know the tranny was just out. I am putting yet another in it! But have another 241 thats still on that tranny.

I've got one that supposedly came out of a 88 Chevy 1/2 ton. Also told it was working at the time and had approx 150K on it. If it truly an 88, it would be manual. Is there an easy way to tell without taking it apart? BTW, it's a drivers drop. $400 plus ride.

I have one from my 89 burb. I pulled it to install a doubler. Complete with 400 adapter and crossmember. PM if interested.
