With stock tires, i squeezed 17+ MPG out of my burb, pretty well loaded with that drive train in it. Cruise control set, dead flat road, but still.
That thing would get pretty decent mileage !

it really depends where the truck came from. up here, we have all the different geography.
mine came from eastern wa=no rust. Id say 80% of the rigs around here are completely rust free.
