Hi, I am looking for the bits and pieces from a 73-75 Blazer to do the full convertible conversion.

I need:
Windshield Frame
Fiberglass Top
and maybe:
window brackets
and Factory Roll bar

Either message me or e-mail me at [email protected]
Thanks, Sean

The factory roll bar typically isn't enough if you do the conversion on the later model K5. Your missing the factory rocker boxes that re-inforced the body so a real roll cage is a good idea to regain what you lose cutting the roof off.

A friend of mine just parted out a '73 K5 and we saved the winshield frame. I'll give him your email address.

Yeah I figured I would copy the rocker boxes (even though I have little to no idea what they are) and do the factory roll bar but maybe reinforce it with another hoop like the pick up truck guys have in their beds. I am generally a street car, race car, and hot rod guy so building a old blazer is extremely new territory for me.

The rocker boxes was basically a structural member built into the floor. It would be easier and better for the long term to build a new roll cage to do the job rather than trying to build in a rocker box (body would have to come off to do it anyway).

ooohhh I wouldn't want to take the body off. But I don't know if I would want to completley cage it you know? That's expensive. I am thinking a 4 point roll bar with thicker tubing and double hoops just because of how much people want for tubing and to weld around here. But I don't know.

Ok I still need a factory roll bar and a fiberglass top preferably with sliders in the southwest somewhere NV,AZ,CA,OR ish
