Near NJ preferred but I have a trailer and can travel if need be.
Im looking for a clean 73-91 C/K3500 3+3 Crew Cab.
Dont care about the drivetrain. Just need a cab and doors....or a cheap roller.
I have some cool stuff for a possible trade.

I believe I have one in CT, needs rockers but otherwise good, doors, floor, etc. My buddy bought it to strip the 454 out. I told him i would take the body a a few months ago but haven't asked him about it since. I can check to see if he still has it if you are interested. I believe it was an '88. I know he scrapped the bed.

If you can check on it for me pseudomike I would appriciate it.
Even better if you can get some pics.
CT isnt too far

Ok, I gave him a ring at his shop but he wasn't there. His buddy was there and said the truck is still sitting in the yard and he hasn't touched it yet. I told him to tell him to give me a call later. I was originally going to take the whole truck with a relatively newer TBI454 for $800 and split it with a friend who wanted the dana 70 rear and the trans until he decided he wanted the motor for a project. I'll be down there later in the week and will get some pictures and talk to him about what he wants to do with it. I'm fairly sure he won't want a million bucks for it but might have to wait for him to pull the motor or something. He may want to get rid of it as it sits with the 454, I'm not really sure. If the motor is something of interest you I'll inquire. It is indeed an '88 3+3 2wd C3500, 454 TBI, TH400, full power, with a clean title.

Needs rockers and cab corners but the kicker is all the roof seems are rotting thru!! Shame too the rest of the truck looks nice enuff!! The whole truck parts on the 40 million dollar plane didnt go over so well!:eek1::doah:

Scott:

Those roofs are commonly glued on by body shops during repair. Why not drill the spot welds, buy an aftermarket roof and glue it back on.

There is one on Craigslist posted in the Scranton/Wilkes Barre section. I think it's an 86, 2wd crew with a utility body on it. Pretty sure it's a deisel, doesn't look too terribly bad, but asking $700 for it. I want it for when I get my Cummins, but need to get the motor first, and don't have the money for both right now.
