Looking for a CUCV brush guard for my civy K5 Blazer. Needs to be mostly straight and all there. I can deal with surface rust as long as it hasn't been sitting in salt water for a decade or anything.

I just moved to Lexington, KY but still have a bunch of stuff up in Northern Michigan in Traverse City, MI. I also have friends/family around Grand Rapids, MI.
The weekend of November 7-8 I will be driving from Lexington up I-75 to Traverse City, packing a moving truck, and then heading down M131 to Grand Rapids and quickly from there heading down to Lexington via Fort Wayne and Indianapolis.

If someone has a CUCV brush guard somewhere around these areas lemme know. Not really looking to pay shipping on something that's just a "would be nice to have" and also rather large and heavy.

Ever get up this way? Knoxville is a bit of a stretch from here - 6 hours round trip.

If you are, lemme know. Any idea what you'd want for it?

Don't forget that it can be shipped via fedex ground as well without a box. That would probably add $40-50 to the price tag, but be far less than the fuel to make a 6 hour round trip.

Yep. Trying to find something local first.

I have one on the 1008 that I got a month ago. It is a little bent, but nothing a big crescent wrench and a Kentucky blue wrench couldn't fix. PM me if you are interested.

Ever getting Kentucky or Grand Rapids way? I did my move about 3 weeks ago so I'm out of Michigan entirely but do have friends and family in the GR area still.

CUCV brushguard

I've got one I'd part with for $100 it's mounted on the
military bumper still. just looking to get my money back on it. If your interested PM me. My zip is 37172.

Just out of curiosity, why put it on a civy k5? The look? Utility? I think you should just say screw it, and throw a 6.2 in the k5 and paint it in CARC. haha

I found a guy with them semi locally for about $65 with the bumper. Don't even need the bumper. Thanks anyway.

Notice the sig...it already is a diesel.
Yep, I would like a brush guard and the few civilian aftermarket brushguards worth a damn are long gone or forgotten on a dusty shelf somewhere so yep, a CUCV brushguard would work fine.
It's getting repainted but not in CARC.
