Lifelong friend of mine is looking for a nice K5. He is a serious car guy but not a mechanic. No projects. 8, 9 or 10 out of 10 is what we are after. First choice would be a first gen full vert. 2nd gen full vert next, others considered. He is in MA but we are very experienced shipping vehicles and flying in to purchase the right one. Northeast is full of rust so he is going to have to travel for a good one. Not looking for a trail rig. Looking for a super clean family rig for dirt roads and ice cream runs. Small lift, everything working, able to pass emissions. Fuel injection a plus. I know the real good ones are worth serious money and that is OK but we are not paying Barret Jackson stupid prices. Just looking for a nice driver, not an overpriced collectible garage ornament. I have driven a square for over 20 years and appreciate the good ones. Thanks for any leads you guys might have.
 
The reasonably priced ones sell immediately. Be ready to pull the trigger sight unseen

Hi, I have a 74 that was completely redone frame up in 2018. It’s an 8 or 9. 350 crate 300 miles. t350 auto trans, 6 inch lift. 35 inch tires. I can send you picks of build and her sitting in my garage. I put a Soft Topper on it this Spring. I still have original hard top. I’m in Arvada CO. I’ve got $40,000 in it. I’m flexible.

That's VERY nice. Probably one of the nicest 2nd gen for sale anywhere right now, at least what I have found so far. Might be a bit high on the price but I will forward the pics and go from there. Thank you.

I know, but when you toss out a number like that it can only drop so far. Its up to my buddy anyway. You never know. Even a great deal can get passed on if the look isn't what a guy is after. We will see what happens. It sure is a nice looking truck to me.
 
87 K5 I brought back from tx. 4.56 gears locker in the rear completely new drivetrain. 4L60E new everything axles u joints steering box, borgeson shaft war. Lockouts. 6” tuff country lift springs 2.5 In the rear and diy4x shackle flip. 35” mtr’s on stock rally wheels. New soft topper $20k

Thanks. Not really sure if I want to get rid of it yet. But I’m thinking about it. It is really really really clean. Zero rust. Have the hard top too.
