WANTED, Michelin XMLs or XLs 11.16s, I forget how many variations there are but you get what I'm sayin..
Willing to spend 1k.
I may be making a trip down to Harrisburg NC to pick up a Kaiser so I'd be willing to pick up along the way just as long as I don't have to go too far west outta my way...

Careful. Those things are old now. Newest 11.00R16's would be probably 10 years old now.

Supersize on here had some bad luck with them coming apart. Just old and used.

Is the military not using either of those tires at all now?

The Marine Corps replaced the 11.00R16's with the wider 325/85R16's a decade or so ago. That's why the influx of them hit the market back then.

Now, with a tight budget and a war or two still going on, the 325/85R16's are being used longer and harder than the tires used to be.

I was wondering why they were so hard to come across. I need just one XML to make a set.

I ended up not buying any and abandoned the project, not really because of the lack of tires but the dreaded "not enough time"....

When I was in during the late 90's I remember our motor pool getting new tires in and installing them on HMMWV's that had 90% good tires on them. The "old" tires went to DRMO.

Those days are gone.
