I'm looking for a stock(ish) K5 Blazer/Jimmy or M1009 Blazer. Yes, I want a diesel.

Going to be a DD so no, not looking for a monster truck. 2-4" of lift and 33's might work however.
Needs to be solid. Doesn't have to be purty but no rusty floorboards, rotted rockers, tailpans in pieces, leaking fluids, transmissions without a gear, front axle about to fall off, etc etc etc.

I'm not afraid of an ugly vehicle or one that needs some work but it has to be able for me to come down to where ever it is, buy it, and drive it back to northern Michigan in very short order.
Also not looking for super pristine either as it'll be a DD and I'm on a budget.

Might consider a Suburban too.

Here is another one that I emailed myself off of CL but the ad expired... needing a transmission though.

1983 Chevy Blazer 4x4 6.2L diesel with 98000 miles. Strong running 4x4 just needs 700r transmission. 1000.00 or any resonable offer.
Contact me at 360-682-5744 or 360-261-2062

Again...is the PNW where ALL the diesel 73-91 GM's migrate to?

Will I wake up one day and Big Ugly is gone but then a few days later you let me know you just saw it...?

Oooh, like that '89...how far is Tacoma/Lakewood?

I have a line on a few CUCV's closer to home (amazing what asking a question on two forums gets you) but I'm keeping these in the running.

It is about 30 miles south of where I work. I could get down there on my motorcycle after work fairly easy. If for some reason you bought something out here, I could probably store it at my work which is about 5 minutes from the SeaTac Airport.

I never find diesel K5 blazers when I have the cash to buy anything though... :doah: I think half of these rigs, the owners were just laid off of work and need to pay some bills (cheaper ones), the other half just spent their tax return last month on something newer and don't need/want the rig anymore (more expensive ones).

I'm going to call the guy and talk to him. I'll let you know.

Thanks man.:D

That's a pickup...I already have one of those.

Got a K5 too now.

Thanks though.
Not a big fan of GL. Lots of waiting and government bureaucracy.
