No such beast, the only adapter that was for one year 1981 when they still had th350 and introduced the 208, it was the tall adapter, and I have one. The next year they switched to 700R4 and a few years later they came with the short adapter for 700/208 which I also have.
The th350/208 is 1" or so thicker to compensate for the longer output shaft.
I can get you some pics of what I have.
i have a spacer and i think the adaptor still. sould have to check.
but if you use a 700/208-241 adaptor and the spacer kit for when you eliminate a 700r4 to a th350 you can do this no problem.
and i think it requires a 6" or so 2wd tail shaft in the th350. then cut a bit off the end.

Yeah but that doesn't change the fact there is no such beast.
He can use the later adapter with a spacer which is what I might do with my 2wd th350 and the 350/208 adapter
You can use the tall adapter with the right cross member if you can't find the right adapter. I have that too.
Ok well I would be interested in the adaptor and the spacer. My TH350 is originally from a K5 with the 208 with the long tailshaft. I just want the shorter foot so I can raise my x-member up some.
fyi you will not gain much if any on clearence.

Yeah I plan on building my own crossmember flat across. That seems impossible with the tall adapter.
Then you might as well buy his adapter with spacer, I don't have a spacer, I will make one for myself once the time comes.
If he only has a spacer and can't find the adapter let me know I have the adapter short style

i got the adaptor and spacer. its a short mount style 4 bolt tranny side round 208-241 style. dont know the year. but its solid no major scaly rust.
