Looking for a rear cab mount crossmember.
And the cross member that goes across the the front spring hanger mount.
For a k30, but I don't know if it different for k10/k20.
Also, the front passager body mount for the core support.
Not as worried about that as I can make it serviceable with a little weld repair, but if someone had the crossmembers and had one to toss in.

@kennyw
@Capt Ron

I have a C10 frame in my scrap pile. I can get a pic of the crossmembers and see if they are close enough to work.

No, looking for a cab mount. More worried a out the cab mount crossmember more then anything.

I figured. I read cross member and stopped reading. Finally I can get rid of these from the backyard. Hehehe. Oh well.

Need to know what year cab/frame you're working with in order to get the correct parts to be able to align the body correctly.

Frame is a 86 cab is from the 70s.
Actually don't care it they are slightly off. I can work/weld/cut as needed and will do so if I can't find anything. But something is better to work with then rust.

I have a cut crew cab frame here from an 89.
I will look tomorrow to see if that portion stayed here.

It'd be easiest to find the parts to fit the frame years which ran 81-91. Then get new poly cab mounts for the same years.

I have new poly mounts for the 86, are you telling me that the cab mounts are different for different years, I have messed with a heck of alot of these trucks and never found as many differences as the internet tells me their are. :dunno:

Mounts are the same from 81-91 hence I was saying stick with the frame years.

You cannot install 81-91 poly mounts on a 73-80 frame since the holes are different sizes and the mounts are different heights. You will have an uneven cab with body lines off and out of whack. You cannot install 73-80 poly mounts on an 81-91 frame either as that will do the same as out of whack.

You can use any year cab on any frame. Just make sure the rubber/poly mounts are compatible to the frame year.

Fair enough I guess. I always just used the old rubber mounts. This is the first set of poly mounts for a square I've used.
This truck will have a flat bed so as long as the cab sits flat no worry about body lines. Thanks for the info.

Also FYI, C10 frames use different rear cab mounts than a K10. I ran into this when I swapped my 70’s cab from a C10 to a K10 frame.

2wd trucks use something like these vs a 4wd truck will use full cross member right?

If no one has a member on here I'll just buy something like that and weld it to a 2×4 tube and weld it in the frame. Or something like that.
I have no problem welding on this frame or whatever. Figured its slightly easier to find one first.

I believe so, I would have to go back and look at my photos. Regardless, the K10 frame required taller body mounts so I had to buy a whole new set.

The two piece rear cab mounts and one piece make no difference in 2 or 4wd. I've seen both types used on both.

Guess I was figuring that maybe the 4wd system put more stress on the frame so they ran a solid member for the 4wd stuff.
I probably have parted 20+ of these bastards and never cared to file this type of info into my brain. Ha.
