Whats your preference and why. I only need one for a vehicle but it needs to be able to move between vehicles.

I love my Garmin Nuvi 200W. Does everything I need it to and the wide screen is nice.

I've had two Magellan units that worked well with no problems, they both had good features for the money but now I'm now running a TomTom 720 (over a year now) and I really like it. It's fast recalculating (I have run it side by side for many k miles with other brands), bluetooth works great, I can read who is calling me on the screen and answer the phone with it and hear the caller over the radio or over the onboard speaker as well as directions over the radio etc. Very rare that it gets screwed up on locations (they all do sometimes). And easy updates or you can user input updates for things like the Tennessee Gorge mud slide blockage on I40 (what was that like a year?). The only thing it doesn't have, or I just can't yet find, is elevation. I like to know that sometimes.

My weekend job is tow trucking too. We have the Garmin nuvi 1100. Yestreday it failed to find a very small town that has been there about100 years. Today it failed to find 790 olympic trail court in Jordan MN. That house, street and development has been there 6 years. WTF:confused:
